Mr.Hng + Jinboon (Film)

Today, my Jinboon is going to be Mrs. Hng!

Jinboon, her real name is Sock Boon and why do we add in”Jin” whenever we call her? That’s not very hard to guess, she’s very “jin” in person. But even if that so, she’s one of my closest friend where together we share a lot of thoughts, ups and downs in life and growing older together.

Being able to capture a best friend’s couple portrait indeed something I enjoy to do very much. It’s so casual and relax and it’s a blessing to be part of their journey in some way that it will makes me feel really great to be able to contribute something that they will remember in their life. I do hope they will like these few casual images I took for them. 🙂

They are more like best buddy than a very sweet loving couple. But to be able to marry your best friend, is one of the most romantic thing to do. 🙂

Deric + Agnes (They both burps then giggles)

Well, it’s another back-log post. 😛 In about one month time, they are celebrating their 1st year wedding anniversary together with their baby boy, Ji Hang. 🙂

So here’s another couple portrait session with the “beh tahan” couple at Ipoh, Mee Mee’s hometown. We had our first session at Kellie’s Castle, and afterwards we went to Ipoh for some food! We discover this place thru online where I saw a friend of mine blog about this awesome cafe with very cool interior, so therefore we all decided to give it a try.

The food was superb awesome! We ended up having 3 different burgers and decided to come back the next morning for the couple portraits. 🙂

Nemo + Yannie (Film)

Soulmate. That’s how they describe each other in their relationship. That’s beautiful. To be in love with someone who can truly understand you, that’s precious.

On one lovely Saturday before Christmas, I tagged along for this photo shoot with Alex. Nemo and Yannie is our friend and it’s always great to be able to photo shoot our own friends. I shoot entire photo shoot with my Canon F1 50mm f1.4 loaded with Kodak Ektar 100. It’s a great day for film, it’s slightly sunny and hot. Anyways, am trying to shoot more with my F1 as I still have some problem focusing and using SLR for a photoshoot. Been “don’t think just shoot” for too long. Haha. It’s good to come out from the comfort zone and discover something new, I guess. 🙂

Long story cut short, here’s the photo from me. Even more digital pictures from Alex soon. Hope you guys like it! And bare with me with some “out of focus” pictures as well; I will overcome it someday! 😉

I’ve been always wanted to visited this place someday. Saw the picture of other people’s blog on these unique hanging umbrella which gaves the alley looks really cool. We actually have some hard time shooting at Empire Damansara (the hanging umbrella place), we get chase/warning from the security guards on duty. Hmm, I just wonder why they did not let people take pictures over there? We aren’t shoot for commercial or with wedding gown or so. Hmm.

Edmund + Yinlai = Zhihin

Let me introduce you this lovely couple, Edmund a.k.a Soh Wai, his lovely wife Yin Lai and their baby boy Zhi Hin (they are expecting to meet him in person this coming Dec. ;))

Edmund is my long time buddy, he’s my schoolmate in secondary school. I’m feel very grateful to be part of this simple maternity photo-shoot for my buddy. This is my first attempt on maternity photo-shoot, I’m stress to the max but I hope everything turn out ok and wish they like it. 🙂

Today, Dec 2 2013, is their 1st wedding anniversary. Time flies! I still remember exactly that very moment when I attend their wedding ceremony and wedding receptions one year ago at our beloved hometown, Kampar. I’m wishing you both have a great life together ahead, and I believe there will be even more laughter and happiness once Zhi Hin is here. 🙂 Love u all!

My Family

It’s a beautiful Sunday morning. It’s a spontaneous photo shoot. It’s my family photo shoot!

It’s been a long while since the thought of capturing family portraits together at a park in my mind, but y’know things happened, dad not around anymore and everyone else getting busy with their own life. Sis gave birth to her first child – Lok Lok early this year added tremendous joy in everybody’s life in the family. Lok Lok is almost at his 8 months during the photo shoot. This little potato grows up very fast!

In conjunction of the mid-autumn festival few days back, mom plan a trip to PJ, while brother is back as well. So, I think it’s really a good timing to head to the park and get few clicks done for a simple family photo shoot!
