Soulmate. That’s how they describe each other in their relationship. That’s beautiful. To be in love with someone who can truly understand you, that’s precious.
On one lovely Saturday before Christmas, I tagged along for this photo shoot with Alex. Nemo and Yannie is our friend and it’s always great to be able to photo shoot our own friends. I shoot entire photo shoot with my Canon F1 50mm f1.4 loaded with Kodak Ektar 100. It’s a great day for film, it’s slightly sunny and hot. Anyways, am trying to shoot more with my F1 as I still have some problem focusing and using SLR for a photoshoot. Been “don’t think just shoot” for too long. Haha. It’s good to come out from the comfort zone and discover something new, I guess. π
Long story cut short, here’s the photo from me. Even more digital pictures from Alex soon. Hope you guys like it! And bare with me with some “out of focus” pictures as well; I will overcome it someday! π
The beautiful of the first shot in a roll of film. They areΒ cheeky, don’t they? π
I personally love this alot. Joy. π
I’ve been always wanted to visited this place someday. Saw the picture of other people’s blog on these unique hanging umbrella which gaves the alley looks really cool. Finally, we are here!
We actually have some hard time shooting at Empire Damansara (the hanging umbrella place), we get chase/warning from the security guards on duty. Hmm, I just wonder why they did not let people take pictures over there? We aren’t shoot for commercial or with wedding gown or so. Hmm.
Anyways, that’s all from my roll of film.Β Stay sweet always, the soulmate couple: Nemo and Yannie. π
Love,
Eva Eva
Hi there, beautiful photos! How did you manage to shoot in Empire Damansara without being chased away?? Me and my bf were there last week and were just taking a few pictures for fun, but the security guard came and chase us away and force us to put our camera back in the bag. π¦
Did you ask permission from the management office?

Hello Sharon,
Nice to hear from you. Just clicked in your websites and it’s gorgeous. π
Btw, yea, we got chased by guards during our photoshoot. That’s pretty ridiculous in my opinion, by the time we went there it’s still early in the morning on a weekend where there’s no other tourist/customers/offices around (opened yet) and they are actually still in the process of renovations (where the toilet aren’t useable yet!!!). I’m not sure why they make the place artsy and did not even allow people to take picture around the place? π¦ Anyway we make the photoshoot very fast. They allow us to take picture using small/compact camera and smart phones thou, but it’s definitely a no-no when they saw big camera like DSLR. That’s my first time visited the place and not sure will I go there ever again. π¦

Thanks Eva! Your photos are beautiful as well, just looked through your blog posts. Love your couple portraits!
Thats why! What a waste of a beautiful place. They should at least share their beautiful architecture and decoration and let the rest of the world see it too! Oh I see.. then maybe next time we will have to do iPhone shooting in there! Maybe if you try to ask permission from the management office they may allow? I am trying to find their contact just to ask them if it is possible to do shooting there.
The security was very mean, after he force us to put our cameras in the bag he follow us around to make sure we don’t do anymore shooting. After that we just left. π¦

Yea, we bump into the security guard few times and he kept follow us. π¦ I think maybe you can officially call up and ask for permission if you guys wanted to do shooting over there. Good luck π
