The Leather Project: Passport Holder

After so many obstacles searching high and low for the tools and leather, I can finally start my leather project! It’s been a long while since the time I attend the leather workshop to make my own leather purse, so I need some time to refresh the steps and things like that. Therefore I decided to make one simple passport holder as a start!

Ta-da!

Though it’s not perfectly done yet (without dyeing the edge) and with some flaws here and there but it’s still ok to use now! 🙂

By using genuine cow leather, here’s some details of the holder.

There are some partitions in the holder to hold up a passport, some cards and cash.

Or you can put your phone in it as well. Perfect for travelling to store up all the important stuff at once! And for my next upcoming project, I’m gonna make a men’s wallet. Teeheeeheee! 🙂

First and foremost, I would like to congratulate the lovely beh tahan couple for tying the knot two weeks ago (finally!!!) Mee Mee (Agnes) is my best friend from university, where she’s actually my room-mates on our year 1 in uni. Then, we have go thru a lot of ups and downs in school, in work and in life but I’m glad that we are still really really close by now. Witnessing her journey getting together with Deric did warm my heart a little. Seeing them being together really sweet and happy, I’m so glad for them. Anyways, cheers to the most “beh-tahan” couple I’ve ever met, wish you both happiness and “white head till old”. 🙂

This set taken in April13′ at Kellie’s Castle. It is a very hot-soak-in-sun-day, but luckily it wasn’t too occupied that day. We are free to roam around and take pictures without the crowd. It’s been my 6th or 7th visit to the castle and indeed it is a great place for some shoot. 🙂

Taking picture for someone I know makes me feels extra grateful, coz they are trusting me (and my cameras) to be able to deliver something that is memorable in their life. So…Deric and Meemee, I hope you really like the pictures-lah! 🙂

Pictures taken by Canon 5D MarkIII.

I’ve few more sets of the couple, taken at Ipoh and Kota Kubu Bharu, so stay tune this space! 😀
